ROOTS MEMPHIS

is a half-acre urban farm located on a once-vacant lot in Whitehaven, Tennessee, just around the corner from Graceland. Where there was gravel, there are now raised beds, a barn, composting, a greenhouse...and even more to come! Roots Memphis produces an assorted variety of vegetables year-round and currently supports a growing CSA every winter and summer.  Roots Memphis also sells to several local restaurants, with produce regularly featured on fresh and seasonal menus, and at farmers markets around town.

Roots Memphis utilizes sustainable growing practices.  The farm is chemical- and pesticide-free, non-GMO, and uses environmentally-friendly soil, water, and other on-farm practices. Roots Memphis is also living-wage, and people-first.
